Great song! The beat alone makes me want to do cart wheels. I had no idea T.I. was writing verses for Detox, but I’m not complaining. Nas’ verse is pretty unbelievable, too.

Obama’s inauguration has provided some publicity for some of hip-hop’s biggest names including Nas, Jay-Z, and Kanye West. I think Chuck D, Ice Cube, and Bun B should have been included. Nas, Jay, and Kanye are all signed to Island Def Jam Recordings. Coincidence? You tell me.

After watching the inauguration, which was amazing, my roomates and I thought it would be ironic to blast “My President” by Young Jeezy and Nas. I can’t really get down to this song until I get the blue Lambo, though.
