I don’t know if you have been getting the same side bar ads i have, but about a week ago this caught my eye:
I am purposely not linking to the site, because i don’t want to give them any undue traffic. It’s essentially the government grant programs which can be used for municipalities, promoting historical interests, the disabled etc… The guy in the question mark suit on TV plugs the same thing. They are both scams, however the language used in “Chedda’s Bling Blog” is speciffically marketed towards African Americans. With its fake Louis Vitton Background, purposeful ersatz, and materialistic attitude its practically the minstrel show of marketing. The company responsible for this is Grant Danger, from all the way over in the UK with an office in Nevada. You can give em a piece of your mind here: (1-888-276-8163)

This is probabaly the last thing Sen. McCain needs
Racism is still alive as is apparent in Bobby May’s anti-Obama column.
John McCain’s campaign has confirmed the removal of their Virginia leadership representative Bobby May, over the prominent GOP veteran’s penning of a racially charged column parodying the policies of Barack Obama.
The piece, entitled “The (clarified) Platform of Barack Hussein Obama,” appeared this week in The Voice newspaper.
I find it hilarious that some people actually think his middle name is significant and/or scary. Yes, Barack Obama’s middle name, which he did not chose, happens to be Hussein. The only other Hussein I know of is Saddam Hussein. Since Saddam Hussein was an evil man and Barack Obama’s middle name is Hussein…this can only mean one thing! Of course, Bobby May was just writing out his full name for the title. When was the last time you heard someone refer to John McCain’s middle name?
On the White House, May mocked that Senator Obama would “hire rapper Ludacris to paint it black.
Taxes [would] be increased to buy enough paint for the job plus spray-paint for the graffiti.”
Seriously?
Regarding the economy, May ranted that the Democratic presidential nominee would change US currency to pictures of Oprah Winfrey, Ludacris and Shelia Jackson-Lee, while appointing mogul 50 Cent as the new Secretary of the Treasury.
I think 50 Cent as Secretary of the Treasury would be good for the country. Think how much money he’s made since 2003. I’m getting off track, though. It’s good that McCain fired this loser.

Be very afraid...of ignorance.
I found this article that deals with the question at the Telegraph so it has an international perspective. Check it out and let me know what you think in the common section.
The poll that found that one third of white Democrats agreed with negative stereotypes about black people being “violent”, “lazy” or always “complaining”.
With the election deadlocked, these are voters that Mr Obama must win if he is to become the first black US president. Many originally backed Hillary Clinton, his former Democrat presidential rival.
Polling analysts calculated that Mr Obama, who currently enjoys a slender two-point lead over his Republican rival John McCain, would be six points higher in the polls were white racism not a factor. At polling time, that could mean the difference between a cliffhanger election and a landslide.
Paul Sniderman, a political scientist at Stanford University who helped conduct the analysis, said: “There are a lot fewer bigots than there were 50 years ago, but that doesn’t mean there’s only a few bigots.”

I found this over at Racialicious.
“He wants to show that he is not a threatening . . . another politically threatening African-American politician,” Nader said. “He wants to appeal to white guilt. You appeal to white guilt not by coming on as black is beautiful, black is powerful. Basically he’s coming on as someone who is not going to threaten the white power structure, whether it’s corporate or whether it’s simply oligarchic. And they love it. Whites just eat it up.”
And…
“There’s only one thing different about Barack Obama when it comes to being a Democratic presidential candidate. He’s half African-American,” Nader said. “Whether that will make any difference, I don’t know. I haven’t heard him have a strong crackdown on economic exploitation in the ghettos. Payday loans, predatory lending, asbestos, lead. What’s keeping him from doing that? Is it because he wants to talk white? He doesn’t want to appear like Jesse Jackson? We’ll see all that play out in the next few months and if he gets elected afterwards.”
